IT builds a new help desk system for the organization where this pilot fish works, and it's a big improvement.
"Now users could enter help desk tickets from anywhere and have the ticket routed to the right person," says fish.
"Our CIO made the decision that this help desk could be used for anything, PC-related or not. For example, it could be used for building maintenance requests.
"About three days into the new help desk, a ticket is entered requesting building service -- there was a window leaking.
"My CIO was reading all of the calls. To this one he dutifully responded: 'Please enter your version of Windows when opening a ticket.'"

These cases are GREAT! Stitching and leatherwork are fantastic. They smell great from the minute you open the box. The leather is high quality and, in the case of the ostrich, it's full quill leather from the best part of the bird.
All the port-holes are in the right spot and easily accessible. Synching in-case is not a problem. The only thing that's a little funky is holding the case open to select music if you have your earbuds or an FM transmitter like a 1st/2nd gen iTrip plugged in. Oh well, no worries, set your pod before you go or plug the iTrip in and leave the cover open; not many ways to get around this in any flip case you use.
All the important parts of the iPod are covered and protected and the click wheels are easily accessable. Piel not only uses top quality leathers but they add in pockets for credit cards, identification, money, whatever. This is a great addend if you don't want to carry an extra wallet around on a given day.
The case comes with an attachable belt holder that can also double to hang in your car if you have a spot for it. Having the iTrip Auto that plugs into the bottom port makes it easy to hang, dial in, and go! This holder can also be removed if you want to carry it in your pocket.
These are very nice cases!
